The 4th installment of Barefoot at the Belmont was moved to The Kessler Theater due to rain and a soggy grass sitch by the pool.  Mission to the Sea opened and Diego Garcia headlined.  Thank you both to a riveting evening of great music.

Greetings everyone! The show this evening with Mission to the Sea and headlined by none other than Diego Garcia will go on at The Kessler Theater! This show is completely seated.

The timetable will be the same:

6pm: doors, kitchen and bar open

7pm: Mission to the Sea performs

8pm: Diego Garcia performs

Great headlining set by Jessica Lea Mayfield last night!  The evening was perfect with calm weather, a great crowd and the best view of downtown Dallas, hands down.

Michael Donner opened the evening.  Everyone loved his set.

Remember our Winter Auction where we put up a pair of passes to the Barefoot series - but you get to watch it from a canoe?  It happened and it was AWESOME.

Old 97’s - “Won’t Be Home”

This track from 2004’s album Drag it Up features the signature energetic style of Old 97’s. Originally from Dallas, Old 97’s have made a 15 year career of it, most recently releasing their seventh studio album, Blame it on Gravity. Lead singer Rhett Miller, is joining KXT for June’s sold-out Barefoot at the Belmont concert series and is a regular on KXT playlists.
