Amy Winehouse - “You Know I’m No Good”

Though Sharon and the Dap Kings have only been playing together since 1996, their music recalls the funk and soul of Motown, Stax, and FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals. This song, from their recent record of the same name, highlights their throwback sound, which was recorded using microphones from the 60’s and 70’s in an effort to authentically capture the energy of the instruments.
